The body reacts to the CoronaVirus COVID-19 infection by producing antibodies from a few days to two weeks plus. The swab test (PCR swab known as Molecular testing) identify the virus in patients. This BLOOD test is for the specific IgG antibodies are produced in the later stages of infection (also known as SARS-CoV-2) and are detectable after RNA is no longer detectable.
